Why did I start A Pause for Paws, Inc.?
I have always wanted to be self employed and work with animals. Pet Sitting is the perfect career to combine both of my passions. Once I got started, I wanted to help as many pets as possible stay home and be comfortable when their pet parents have to be away. That is a stressful thing and I can make it fun and relaxing for all types of pets! I also love giving part-time jobs to people who LOVE animals and have a genuine caring spirit to those that need it most. |

My Family
My husband & I have two kids, a 7 year old son & 5 year old daughter
My Interests
My passion is roller skating, worked in a skating rink for 12 years. I love music & dancing. I love doing “unnoticed” work for the community, like having a back pack drive for Lincoln Action Program & People City Mission, helping have food drives for the Food Bank of Lincoln. I go to the same church that I grew up in, was baptized & married in, Redeemer Lutheran
Why do I LOVE working for A Pause for Paws, Inc.?
I love my job at A Pause for Paws & Cats Pajamas, because I get to do office work WHILE being around cats & other animals. The owners of APP and CPJs have a passion for the care of animals that is ongoing & so encouraging that it continually spreads throughout everything that we do & everything that we stand for. One of the greatest perks of working at the office is that the job is so flexible that I get to take & pick up my babies from school every day |
